It worked! I caught one! I heard it get trapped just before I sat down to eat supper, so I went and looked at it. It was still moving. It had not yet deceased, and therefore it was not a very clean kill. I ended up drowning it in the bathroom sink. Kind of an awful feeling, and I kept wondering what it was thinking while it slowly drowned to death and gave up the struggle... Then I washed my hands and ate my supper.
